Cher brings 12+ years of experience in the industry. Her passion for her business is contagious as she continues to expand her staff and internship program with great personalities. Rich with imagination and commitment to pairing inspiration with your ideas, Cher enjoys surrounding herself with the things she loves! Innovative design, custom décor and cozy atmospheres are top offerings while the details of planning are certainly not overlooked.

Her education began while studying at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh then continuing at Ashland University to earn her Bachelor of Arts degree. Expanding her repertoire she quickly joined one of the areas leading event companies as the premier "Wedding Specialist" growing and adding value and success to their organization for 10 years.

Why leave such a fantastic company? Cher has a beautiful family with a special needs daughter who needed attention. Stepping away was a difficult, yet important and necessary decision. She couldn’t possibly continue with the demands of her increasingly responsible position. Absent for only 3 short months, she, along with her family realized, life must go on! "It may not be the party we hoped for, but while we're here we should dance" Embracing her circumstances and adapting to her responsibilities as a mother, her ability to multi-task enabled her to successfully cater to both. Keeping priorities in order and her faith as the foundation, she and her staff form a fantastic team! "It's better to have a partner than go it alone. Two people are better off than one, for they can help each other succeed.”

Fast forward to present day… after the launch of Merry Me Events, less than 2 years ago, Cher and her design team have been creating and producing imaginative events throughout the Michiana Region. Her approach remains "less is more because excellence matters". Her team has chosen to keep a limited focus allowing only one event design team assigned on any day. Cher emphasizes her attention to outstanding customer service proven with repeat client satisfaction.

Cher is a contributing editor to Wedding Day magazine and has been asked to join several expert panel discussions throughout the region.
