Her husband died Oct. 15, 1967. Friends may call at Nickel Funeral Home, Morrison, after 4 p.m. Tuesday until noon Wednesday and then at the church until the time of service. Mr. Eichhorst was born June 30, 1915, in the Town of Morrison, son of the late Fred and Anna Wierschke Eichhorst. Death was due to cancer of the stomach. Gustav Griebling, of Manitowoc, died of typhoid fever Wednesday night at 1 a.m. She graduated from Kiel High then St. Agnes School of Nursing in Fond du Lac, Wis. Ronning, age 94, a resident of the Village of Mishicot since 1978, passed away early Wednesday, February 22, 2023 at Meadow View Assisted Living of Two Rivers. J. H. Gilba, chief engineer of the steamer Hesper, died here early yesterday of pneumonia. The survivors are: his widow, Mrs. Goutcher; five sons, Vernon, of Janesville; Harold, a corporal in the U. S. army, Camp Butner, N. C.; Irvin, a private in the United States marline corps, now on duty in the Solomon Islands; Dale and Ralph, who are at home with their mother.
