When we found out recent high school grad Cameron is heading to Ringling College of Art + Design in Florida, we knew the theme for her party had to be Creative Juices. As themes often do, this one took on a life of its own. We brought fun, bold patterns and colors alongside Cameron’s own art into the design. Food and beverage planning + design can be a huge opportunity to wow guests, but it’s also an understandably sensitive topic right now because of COVID-19. So here’s how we handled it: we mixed up beverages with an Italian Soda Bar and styled the food station with cast iron skillets, bricks and sternos… tossing the chaffing dish idea out of the way as we often do. To ensure guest and client comfort, every guest was served by a Merry Me team member. Sweets by D also cranked out some awesome cakecicles – kind of like a cake pop, shaped like a popcicle, but splattered with edible “paint.” Cameron’s mom also ordered Florida-themed cookies for her artist! .
