Those are just a few details from our steamy evening at Potawatomi Zoo for families in town for Notre Dame’s family-friendly University Relations Summit, or what we prefer to call Summit Safari 2017. When Notre Dame asked us to plan + design + coordinate the event, we went for the ultimate wow factors.

The caravan arrived to a check-in table complete with gift boxes, safari hats and a “passport” to explore the zoo while having a chance to win prizes later. Just inside the main gate, an oasis and passed hors d’oeuvres greeted weary voyagers before their trek through the jungle toward the festivities. The celebration culminated with live music and pleasant potables beneath a stunning safari canopy.
